| Fort Cobb Public Hunting Area lies northwest of the lake and consists of approximately 3,500 acres of rangeland and abandoned fields overgrown with blackjack thickets. Game species include quail, rabbit, squirrel, dove, deer and turkey. The area also includes the world's largest crow roost, attracting crow hunters nationwide. Fish species include white and largemouth bass, channel catfish, bullhead, bluegill and crappie. |
